
Barnaby Robson is a British professional musician: performer, composer, and researcher.
He is Principal Clarinet of English National Opera and formerly held the same position with the Philharmonia Orchestra. In the recording studio, his soundtrack credits include The Theory of Everything, Knives Out, Wicked Little Letters, Elizabeth, and Mission: Impossible. He has recorded albums for Sony, ASV, Hyperion, BBC, Decca, and Orchid Classics.
As a composer and producer, Barnaby has created music for film, television, radio, and the concert hall. He has written production music for KPM, The Scoring House, and Extreme Music, and has composed original scores for Mammoth Screen, Hat Trick, and Universal.
Barnaby has contributed articles to music industry publications, appeared on music podcasts, and been a judge on BBC Young Musician. He is Professor of Clarinet at the Royal College of Music and holds an MSc in Performance Science.
